What’s Simple Author?

We’re so glad you asked! It’s a lesson design platform to make your own interactive, adaptive, digital lessons. Learn more about it at Infiniscope.org!

Basically, Tour It tours are interactive and immersive, but you can’t ask questions that learners respond to hold them accountable for exploring the tour. If you put a tour in a Simple Author lesson, then you can ask the learners questions about the tour and give them customized feedback to help them out.

Adding a Tour into a Simple Author Lesson

  1. First, you must get set up with Simple Author by making an account and starting a lesson.

  2. Click and drag the iframe to where you want it. You can also click and drag the borders to make it bigger. It’s recommended to be at least half the screen to make your tour easy to see.

  3. Make sure your iframe is selected (it will have a bright green dashed border). Then in the Right Panel you’ll see a Source. Put in your tour’s shared link.

Your tour is now in your lesson! It doesn’t look like it in the Simple Author, but when you preview your lesson (Previewing a Lesson), it’ll be there!
