Creating a Section for a Collection

  1. Select Create a Section from the bottom of a collection page.

  2. In the pop-up, select I don’t have an LMS or I use Google Classroom.

  1. Enter a title, a start date, and an end date. Then click Create.
    1. Registration Open: This opens the section for registration.
    2. Requires Enrollment: Learners must sign in with an account and not as a guest.
    3. Omit Student Email Verification: This will make it so learners are not required to confirm through their email. (Note: They must remember their password though since they won’t be able to get email password updates!)

  1. This will bring you to the Manage Section page. You have successfully created a section.

Previewing a Collection

  1. From the Manage Section page, click Preview Course as Instructor.

  1. This will open a new tab in your browser.

  2. Select Open to preview your choice of course content. It will open that content. (In this example, we are opening Kingdom in Peril.)

  3. In the top left, there’s a small tab menu. Select the screen icon. You will see all the screens in that experience and you can jump to any screen.

    1. You can also move through the lesson like a learner would by interacting with the screen and selecting Next.

Enrolling Learners in a Collection

  1. From the Manage Section page, select Invite Students.

  1. Choose how long you would like the lesson link to be active.
    1. You can create multiple links with different expiration dates.

  1. Copy the URL and share it with learners!
